Biography
Vic Noon was born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine and currently lives and works in Houston, Texas. He completed 4-year structural classical art program and has a degree in New York Institute of Photography.
He uses an impressionistic, partly abstract, gestural and figurative picture language and prefers an expressive and powerful Palette Knife Painting. He is a contemporary artist mostly known for his Texas landscapes.
INSPIRATIONS:
“I am influenced by painters like J. M. William Turner and his visionary abstraction of colors, by the unbelievable Vincent Van Gogh, Marc Chagall and Edvard Munch, Pablo Picasso, also by Gustav Klimt and his interpretation of the Art Nouveau, the impressionist Claude Monet and Edouard Manet”
